Hikvision TFTP Auto-Update tftpserv Firmware HELP DS-2CD2732F-IS

Hello there,
have always restored cameras with TFTP and it has always worked .

I now have a camera DS - 2CD2732F - IS Dome varifocal .

I 'm doing everything the manual FTP Automatic Update Tool says .

Connect the camera directly to 12V and the PC and change the network card to 192.0.0.128 and turn off all firewalls .

Nothing happens , the LED on the LAN port on the computer are off.

In the other camera the LED on the LAN port lights from the PC .

What can I do ?

That suggests the camera is not powering on via the 12v PSU.
Does the 12v PSU work with anything else? Does anything else work with the 12v PSU?

But why do you mention the computer? Best not to direct-cable camera and computer, best to wire each to it's own switch or router port.

The camera is no longer displayed on the router and SADP tool . I need to install a different firmware on the camera.

If it's not on the router and not on SADP it may not be getting power, or working via the 12v power option.
What did you used to power it with, and does the LAN LED show there if you plug it in?

The LAN LED ( computer ) is off.
No connection to the computer .
The LEDs on the camera light up red ( night vision )
I connect the camera with a 12V power supply and via a LAN cable to computer .


When I connect a different camera on the computer then turns the LAN LED

And TFTPServ program finds the camera

If this is using the same 12v PSU, then it looks like the camera may be faulty, not powering up.

If the switch port LED does not light, the camera is not powering up, it may be faulty.
Can you power the camera using PoE to see if it powers up?

Everything seems to be getting in a muddle here! Can you clarify these point below in order as it will make it easier to understand where the problem is or is not.

Forget everything up to this point try these tests and report back for more help.

Connect your non working camera with a known working 12v power supply directly to a switch or router then connect the switch to the pc

1. Does the camera power up? (put it in a dark place or cover with a sheet, if the red infra red leds light up its powered up)
2. If point 1 doesn't power up connect via POE in the same way. camera to POE switch, POE switch to pc
Does the camera power up?

If none of the above make the camera power up then the problem is the camera hardware.

If you can get the camera to power up but not connecting to Tftp then you will need to connect the camera via the ttl serial connection in order to achieve what you need.

Right so this indicates that the camera is at least getting power. Otherwise the red infra red led's wouldn't glow.

What does the Tftp program interface show when you load it?

The jounin Tftp needs to be run as administrator to work although it's not the right Tftp
The hikvision one is the right one
It isn't connecting to 192.0.0.128 that's why it's not picking up the camera.

Make sure your WiFi is turned off as that will make it do that

You need to figure out why it's connected to 127.0.0.1

It looks like you have 2 lan interfaces on you network centre so try the other one and set that as you have for 192.0.0.128

Another camera shows the LAN Tester LED PIN 1 lights.

In the other camera the LED is off.

Therefore, the computer does not detect a Lan cable.
