Hivision Firmware STD vs NEU

Good afternoon,

I bought to EP-2442 cameras online in china. OEM versions. I requested the Original firmware from the seller (just in case) and got 2 versions:

IPC_R6_EN_NEU_5.4.5.170124
IPC_R6_EN_STD_5.4.5.170124

According to shop, thee STD version is for cameras with Hikvision on them(Original), the NEU version is for the OEM version (no brand visual on the camera)

Anybody has any experience with this?

On the Hikvision site, there is an update concerning the hik-connect, IPC_2XX2_ML_STD_5.4.5_170123

What would happen if I install the STD version on my NEU version?

If there is only STD versions on the hikvision site, where can I find NEU versions?

If I install this 5.4.5 version and it is not working, can I flash the Original one back on the camera, or will it be impossible to downgrade?

I bricked two older (chinees) types who had 5.2.5 hacked on them, so I'm a little bit carefull...

I cannot answer your specific question. However, I can report that I have a mix of Hikvision-branded cameras as well as OEM cameras (mostly from Nelly's Security) and I use the exact same firmware on them (STD). No issues.
