Please someone try to explain in an easy step-by-step way as I’m lost when it comes to Hikvision.

I have a customer that wants his DS-2CD752MF-E integrated in a system of a noname NVR.

I can reach the cameras IP but not through Onvif. I guess Onvif is turned off as it has worked with a Hikvision NVR before.

Probably I have to reset the camera also as the customer dont know the login…

what tools do I need? I have a test-instrument with a Hikvision tool integrated but it wont find the camera so I suppose an approach with PC software or browser interface is my way to go?

The device specs don't mention that ONVIF is supported - it may be too old a model for that capability.

Have you tried Hikvision's SADP tool on a Windows PC?
It will find Hikvision devices even when they are on a different IP subnet.

Land down down under
Looking on a two sites so far, both sites do not mention ONVIF.
Not even RTSP in the supported protocols.

If I search the modelname + onvif I get some hits. But I’m not sure either :-/
Hikvision site is not very helpful either.

I can edit login credentials, IP nr etc through that one. But cant find any onvif setting. Very few settings actually…
