I was at the Dahua Starlight show last week. In case you are wondering how you could connect Dahua ePoE cameras through spoons, take a look :) They also connected them through pickles, beer cans, sausage and meatballs, unfortunately, I don't have pictures of those

Can you explain to us please ? :)

Sounds to me like it's a demonstration of epoe being able to work over highly marginal connections. Does connecting through a pickle add a green cast to the image?
Indeed they were demonstrating how well the ePoE works over any kind of cable or conductor for that matter. So you can basically use any 2 wires to connect the cameras to the NVR or ePoE switch, this is mostly useful with old coaxial cables.

I was also quite amazed by the max distance, it worked with over 900 meters (3000 feet) of UTP cable :wow:

Unfortunately no green cast though :)
