I deleted a bunch of old video manually from the folder it was residing in with windows explorer. Since then BI gives me the over allocation error. I've tried rebuilding/repairing the DB and some other things listed here but none have fixed it. Any ideas?

The drive is 500gb with 156gb free on a notebook. Windows recycle bin is empty (not used). Hopefully the attached screenshots are what you're looking for.

clear the recycle bin..post your drive info and images of clips and archiving settings for EACH folder as well as the clips storage tab in blue iris status.

Ok, so what do I do? Change those 400 and 200 to a little less then what's actually available and rebuild?

You have allocated 600gb of storage for a 465gb hard drive, with some of that used for the OS and other data...

you dont have to rebuild...your total storage cannot exceed available space.
