So we now have a old camera is using BNC, to get the live view of the camera, we would use a BNC to composite video cable. Is there such a cable to convert the RJ45 output to HDMI?

That RJ45 (Ethernet) may transport not only POE to the camera for power but at the very least is also transporting data that must be decoded by another TCP/IP device, usually a PC running VMS or viewer software or a NVR to view the stream; either of those devices could supply digital video to an HDMI TV or monitor. The NVR would be the easiest and cheapest way to take an IP camera and display to a HDMI TV or monitor.

I am not aware of a simple "cable" that could do that, even if I assume you mean an "active" cable.

If the camera is that old, it's probably outputting NTSC analog video over the coax cable and BNC connector. Attempting to upconvert to HDMI would be almost pointless. You can buy a new IP camera for about $120 to $140, but cables and convertors probably be more than that, anyway, and much less reilable. If you seriously want to do this, it appears analog/composite video to HDMI adapters are about $20.

some ip cameras have an analog output just for adjustment at the time of setup but its not common. Simply use a cheap nvr to display.
