I bought a couple of Hikvision 2CD3332-I cameras play with, and while trying to get them to display on the ipad thought I was having problems with overlapping http ports so changed one of them from 80 to 81. Bad move, and now I can't log into it to change it back. I can still see the camera in Blue Iris, iVMS 4200 and can access the basics in SADP, and the last 2 allow me to change the server port (8000), but none of them allow me to change the http port.

I figure I need to do a hardware reset, and all references I've found say press and hold the hardware reset button while powering on, but I can't find the button. I've opened it up and couldn't see anything on the pcbs that were visible, but I didn't pull all of them out so it could be hidden away in there somewhere. I thought I'd ask before disassembling it further.

Any help appreciated :redface-new:

Hi You can't access the camera on port 81 by stipulating port 81?

type in your IP then :81 you should hit your new address.

ex. http://192.168.1.64:81

and ivms 4200 lets you change the ports, you just have to add the device first then configure that way.

I don't play with ports enough to be familiar with them. I had tried and obviously got it wrong. Tried again tonight and bingo. Thanks for the assistance.

Great news. However, there are many other situations when a hard reset could be the only solution. Does anyone have a solution for this? My Hikvision dome PTZ has no hard reset button, confirmed by the manufacturer.
