How to quickly and smoothly review recorded events?

when I pull the slider back and forth, there's a lot of lag causing me to miss a lot of frames. Is there an affective way to quickly review the clips smoothly? Each of my recording is 1 hr long.

if this is happening on your server pc then you have a cpu or hdd bottleneck.

my CPU never pass 35% (idle is averaging 25%) and the disk that BI recording resides peaks at 37% but average low 20's. I'm watching the the performace monitoring as I'm reviewing the frames.

is the antivirus excluding BI and its storage folders?
Do you have an ssd for OS and BI/DB?

SSD for OS and BI data, everything is stored in 4tb internal 7200 RPM drive don't remember the make/model.
