I have a WD 6TB Purple HD dedicated to BI "New" storage (d:\). I believe I over allocated the drive leaving only ~17GB free. Since I have 12 cams, each producing 1GB per cut, I think I'm too close and this will eventually cause problems. I don't know how to reduce or lower the New folder allocation. Can I just do it in Clips and Archiving and BI will adjust? Do I start over? I hate to loose many, many days of video. Do I need to rebuilt the DB after an adjustment? Thoughts?

I'm running win10 on a Dell OptiPlex 7050, I7-7700, 8GB DDR4, latest version of BI. Win10 and BI run on c:\, a WD 1TB HD.

I'm having ntdll.dll crashes caused by BI on the d:\ drive about every other day. Ken asked me to try to narrow the issue down. Typically the ntdll.dll crashes are caused by HD issues. I have run HD diagnostics on both with no errors. I have run MS DISM twice and SFC with no errors. So I'm looking at the "new" storage folder and I believe I did not leave enough free space. Here is a typical crash report:

Per Ken, I need to narrow this down before they can help. So, I'd like to reduce the size of the "new" folder to get more HD free space.

why dont you adjust the size and see for yourself. also ensure that you are running a clean windows install - using ms media creation tools...99 percent of issues are related to users using old installations, in place upgrades for older versions of windows, and/or running other crap on their pc.
