Pulling my weight
Good Morning,
Just wanted to get my introductions done before i do any further posting or commenting. Due to a recent spat of break-ins around the neighborhood i have decided to move up the time table of me getting a surveillance system.
In my Googling, to self educate myself, i am glad i found this site as there really isn't a whole lot of good information to be found elsewhere. Most of it just points to sales for premade systems of varying price and quality, and my usual tech youtube channels are sparse on this particular subject.
I am glad that the recommended solution is to piece together an NVR using used office work stations. While i struggled with this at first, mainly because i wanted an excuse for a new PC build, it makes good economic sense. Right now i am still in the planning phase and the only thing i have done is set up my old galaxy s4 to act as a camera for the living room, and bought & installed an EZVIZ DB1.
Anywho now that is out of the way i hope everyone is having a good December.
