Interesting swarm on camera

I had one of these last week, then last night all of my cameras were showing this. I thought Alfred Hitchcock was filming a new movie at my house called "Swarm".

When every camera is sending you alerts, you tend to take notice. So, I got up to see what was happening and there was no wind, no swarm, nothing with the naked eye. Although all my cameras were showing this same pattern, some more than others.

After some head scratching, I figured out what it was and turned off all alerts on the cameras (I wanted to sleep last night). This morning I had over 600 clips in Blue Iris.

I am curious if anyone else has seen this before. See the video and snapshot below.

Well, what was it?

It was fog. I couldn't find anything else that it could be.

Although, it doesn't look like fog.

I had recently stopped using my exterior flood lights and have switched to IR only now.

I thought I was seeing the same thing...just assumed it was very small flies, as I do see swallows and bats circling a lot at around the same time at dusk. I'll see if I can grab a vid of it.

High humidity / fog, it hapens here sometimes.

Usually happens to me if there's a mist in the night, the light reflects off the mist.
