Hello everyone, I'm new to security systems in general, IP cameras and recording systems specifically, and new to this forum. I'm here to research and learn and I look forward to chatting with and learning from everyone.
My wife and I are in the process of installing a security system we recently purchased. Cameras aren't an option with our setup and I prefer to have something I put together and store the video locally anyway. We're looking to add IP cameras to our house in the next year or so, so I have a while to research and learn and find what will best suit our needs for the best price.
