IPC-HDBW4421R-AS Replacement Lenses

I have ordered, and recieved, 4 of these Dahua cams with 6mm lenses installed. I now realize this is was too much magnification, and would like to change to 2.8mm, or a different size, lens. Is this possible, and if so, where is a good place to look for lenses? How do they get changed out? Are there any tutorials or anything like that on how to do it?

I have not done it myself but they are usually changeable and there are a couple online companies that sell the replacement lenses. There was a thread a while ago on here I saw that mentioned a lot more about it. Youll have to do some searching. Ive never seen a tutorial on it being done though.

take the camera apart and see if you can remove the lens, if so thats the thread.. get a replacement adn give it a try, M12 lenses are dirt cheap

Thanks guys, I appreciate the feedback. I will pull a camera apart this upcoming weekend and tinker to see how far I get. Will report back.
