Hi,
I'm considering of buying this budget camera.
It is 2MP with a 1/2.8" sensor.
I wonder whether someone has it or is familiar with it and with its picture quality at night?
Also, does it works good with its IVS functionality?
And a general question; is a more detailed picture (higher resolution assuming having a compatible sensor size) helps IVS/SMD accuracy?
Thanks.

That camera cannot see infrared, so if you do not have enough light at night, it will perform horribly.

You would be better off to buy a camera that can see infrared.

Thanks.
It has though a Min. Illumination 0.0015 LuxX@F1.0
Any recommendation for other acceptable budget camera?
I already have a 5442 one, but i would like to but a budget one now.

The min illumination specs are based under ideal static, nothing moving conditions with the shutter slowed down and the iris wide open with gain at 100, but motion will be a complete blurry mess.

You will be disappointed going from a 5442 to a cheaper one LOL.

Something like the T2231T series is a decent 2MP on a 1/2.8" sensor.
