Hi,
The 5231 looks like it is the newer model. However, I had read that it has autofocus issues and saw videos of it:
I have seen a video of the 5200 and it seems like it doesn't have any autofocus issues:
Anyone know if the 5200 does in fact NOT have autofocus issues?

My 5231 has no autofocus issues.

My 5231s haven’t given me any autofocus problems, but my 5631 turret (zoomed in over 80%) does. I run the DahuaSunriseSunset tool on my BI PC to handle that and also switch the cameras between day/night profiles at a specific time.

Folks have reported several models having problems auto-focusing when the zoom is near 100%. IMO, this is part of the reason why some folks have the problem and some folks don’t.

Are you saying that some folks don't have autofocus issues because they are not 100% zoomed? While others use 100% zoom so this is why they have autofocus issues?
