IPC-HFW5241E-Z12E Vs IPC-HFW5231E-Z12E?

I’m new here and it appears these two models are the most popular for LPR. What is the consensus between these two models? The 523 looks like it does 60 FPS where the newer 524 does 30? Any other factors to consider? My use case is reading plates at about 75 feet during the day, night with a small amount of street lights.

The 5241 is an updated version of the 5231. Very similar. 5241 a bit better perhaps. At 75 ft you'll be fine assuming you have a good angle, IR, and take the time to play with the settings to get it dialed in.
