After updating to General_IPC-HX2XXX-Molec_MultiLang_PN_V2.820.0000000.48.R.220614.bin, I cannot open a ONVIF snapshot with the browser anymore by using:
http://<ip_address>/onvifsnapshot/media_service/snapshot?channel=1&subtype=0
When using the URL as stated above, a '404 Not Found' error is shown.
With the former firmware V2.820.15OG000.0.R, Build Date: 2021-07-06, it worked perfecty.
It seems that with the new firmware, ONVIF is not working anymore as it did before. Not anonymous, and not with credentials.
As a workaround, I'm now accessing snapshots by using CGI, instead of ONVIF.
In the camera settings I made these changes: (including turning off as much as possible for best performance)

- Network -> Turned off all unnecessary options (like bonjour, multicast, etc)
- Network -> Access Platform -> All turned off, including ONVIF
- System -> Account -> Created a user and made it member of a seperate group with only the authorities: 'Live view' and 'Manual Control'
- System -> Safety -> Only CGI servies enabled, all other services disabled.
After that, I changed my local URL usage by changing from ONVIF to CGI:
Old URL: http://<IP_Address>/onvifsnapshot/media_service/snapshot?channel=1&subtype=0
New URL: http://user:password@<IP_Address>/cgi-bin/snapshot.cgi

i have tried to update my camera, but now i have got no picture from it. I can log into it, but there is no video stream.
I have tried to change firmware to pretty much anything i can find with no luck.

with firmware
V2.800.0000000.24.R, Build Date: 2020-10-14
This is the original firmware my camera was shipped with. I was unable to upgrade or downgrade firmware.
I was only able to brick video output, and cant get it back to work.
Can you guys help me with that?
I have tried config tool, but firmware upload crashes at 50%, upload fw with internet explorer but with no luck.
I have reseted camera many times.

Hi, yes I have tried resetting and hard resetting it and then tried to upload some firmwares again, but it always gets stuck at 50% and then it only reboots to the same firmware without video stream
Can you try to update from the NVR if you have one?
Not sure it will help, but this is the only thing I think of.
Guys I'm trying to update IPC-HDW2431TM-AS-S2 camera that's got FW V2.800.0000000.9.R, Build Date: 2019-11-15 on it currently. It has some bugs so I'd like to try new FW.
I'm using FW package DH_IPC-HX2XXX-Molec_MultiLang_PN_V2.820.0000000.48.R.220614 which by my checking threads here should be right, but I get this error during uploading of the FW to the camera, both from the Web interface and from Dahua ConfigTool.
"Update package invalid and update failed. Device will reboot immediately"
Any idea what the cause and the solution is to this issue ?

i bought it from aliexpress, years ago, with no warrany. I wanted to find some new firmware and found this thread

I have two IPC-T2431TM-AS I'm trying to setup. I have the camera working but I can't seem to get the IVS working. I have enabled IVS in Smart Plan, saved. Created an intrusion box and saved. But I do not see the intrusion box on the Live tab (I see these IVS rules on the Live tab for my 5442 cameras). I tried to trigger the IVS rule but no luck either. Should I see the IVS rule on the Live tab on a 2431 with the latest firmware? Both of my 2431 have the same issue.
Still having issues with my IPC-HDW2431TM-AS-S2 and it's near time to bin it.
My recording stops when the SD card is full and reports 'error' status in the destination setting menu, even though the card is full the stored recordings can't be access to view.
Setting recording to overwrite doesn't seem to work. Tried three new SD cards, one 128GB and two 64GB.

Anyone still have an updated FW for this early build 2431TM-AS-S2 on their HDD, the links to the early one in DropBox in this thread appear dead (and the top posts FW won't install) ?

This model fw i think dahua has 2 different hardware, so not easy to find the correct one, i will help you to check if has a older one.
