I am using cms software. I have had this problem right from the get go when i first connected the camera to the router via ethernet cable. I am now using wifi and the problem persist. supposedly the motion settings are not enabled. I have tried to force color or b/w but that did not seem to help at all. infact it still seemed to be using color and b/w. I am not sure if maybe i need to restart the camera itself after every saved settings change or what? If anybody has any suggestions i would appreciate it.

Not familiar with that camera, but I would try first:

Day/Night mode to Auto
Auto Iris to Open
Then OK/Refresh and see if it holds the settings

Then if no joy you might want to play with the DayNTlevel and NightNTlevel settings

Is there a big white light on out there at night? or a white light close to the camera making it want to switch to color but then it decides there's not quite enough light and switches back?

Also - Just noticed you have Slow Shutter ON - medium... try turning that off. It will likley produce motion blur anyway if you have a moving object in the field of view..my experience with slow shutter is that it brightens the static picture, but once you get movement, which is what we care about, it produces blur. It is the nature of slow shutter I believe...it could be messing with your Day/Night setting as its trying to allow more light than normal into the camera.

i emailed the ebay seller about it in china they replied with blaming the use of a extension cord. Originally, i had the problem using a 8 socket bar with a breaker in it. Then the second location i was using a old 50ft extension cord. I then used the 50 foot spring loaded extension cord on the ceiling in the garage that is plugged in to a 8 socket bar with a breaker which is plugged into a socket on the ceiling next to the door opener. Now it works... No problems with the IR leds
