Does anyone know if setting the IR lights to "auto" means BI decides if they should come on or not, or is it telling the camera to make that decision? I have an Amcrest IP2M-841, and it appears to have it's own IR settings in the camera--"Manual (with a slider for 'middleLight')," "Smart IR," and "Off." Additionally, BI appears to have settings of "On," "Off," and "Auto."
It would help me understand how all these settings play with each other if I knew that BI was simply telling the camera to make the switching decision in "Auto" mode, but I'm not sure if that is how it works or not. Thanks for any help!
