Hi all

Wondering if I can get some opinions or comments?

Instead of IR illuminating my court yard, I want to use led flood lights that r controlled by a photocell.

I'm convinced that the ir images are not worth it. Flooding the yard with light from dawn to dusk and forcing the cameras into low light mode would be by far the better option both for images and as a deterrent.

What color range ie 3000k or 5000k?

Lights high above the camera I assume.

Was just going to find some moderately bright lights ie20w from eBay or Amazon try it out.

System is 6 cam 4k poe lorex recently from Costco. I can always upgrade if necessary.

Neighbors won't be affected by the lights.

Lower color temperature is considered more pleasing to the eye, but higher like 5000k is better for accurate color reproduction.

Visible-light LED floodlights scale up all the way into the hundreds of watts before prices start getting too insane, so you can definitely upgrade the lighting if necessary.
