Is this network diagram valid?

Hello, i am a newbie so please dont judge me - i just tried to visualize how my new network in family house should be, do you think the components and logics is ok? Isnt there something I am missing? Can I take the LAN from switch to the outlet and then from the other outlet straight into the camera?


Any advice even for the network devices used is welcomed..

Yup, it will work like that. Does your cable internet actually enter your house on the second floor?

Your mesh router basically acts as an AP for all your second story wireless clients in this setup. Keep your SSID the same on both wireless units and turn down the output power on them as well (mesh and main router) so that your clients can roam easier.

Thank you! yes - we have antenna behind the window in the second floor that goes to the modem..
