Isolating area for motion alerts

guys - is this possible to do? My camera looks over my full front yard and lot of people are walking on the sidewalk. I only want a motion alert set off a motion alert if it detects motion within 10 feet of the entry door. However, I want the camera to see the whole front yard if I have to

In BI, go to camera "Properties", "Trigger" and click on "Help" button at lower right of that last window.

Draw a zone or zones, experiment with sensitivity settings, etc. until you get what works for you. You WILL be going in and out of the house a lot unless you enlist the help of someone and you communicate via cell phones. Make sure you re-try at night.

BI has excellent built-in Help.
