Getting the hang of it

I've bought one of these cameras for AE and have it up and running with my HIKVision NVR. The only issue is when I switch to the live view it takes up to 20 seconds for it to burst into life.
What I am trying to do is set this up with tinyCam Pro for viewing on TV/Phone/Watch, but I cannot get the stream to show.
I've tried it with the rtsp stream through the NVR, as I've done with the directly POE port attached cameras I already have, but to no avail.
I've tried this in ONVIF Viewer, but although I can get a screen shot in the app, it won't stream directly.
Funny thing is, even if I've 'logged' into ONVIF viewer, it still has a strange password in the stream URL it creates and this doesn't work either.
Should I be able to view the stream through the NVR or as it's an external camera would I have to hit the camera directly or even should I be doing that?
