Laview 16ch 4k NVR

Hi all,

Is the Laview LV-N9616D6E 16ch 4K NVR a rebranded Hikvision 7600 Series 16ch 4K NVR from Hikvision global website? If so does anyone know which model Hikvision 7600 model?

On Hikvision USA website the closest model is DS-7616NI-I2/16P. However I don't think this is the model used by Laview because the outgoing bandwidth is higher at 256Mbps versus 160Mbps for the Laview.

Wondering if the Laview NVR can be flashed to a Hikvision firmware.

I to have always wondered about flashing a rebranded device to Hik branded firmware. If your able to cross reference which Hik model it is, would it work? It seems like to grey market is slower to get FW updates. I was able to successfully load a Hik branded firmware onto a trendnet NVR I had laying around, so that gives me hope...

I tried to flash the firmware for the 7600 series with tftp. didn't work. but I can flash the 7700 and the 9600 series with rs232 cable. maybe there is a rs232 connector inside the machine. anyone can confirm?
