I was looking at LaView 1080P HD IP Wi-Fi Wireless as a replacement for two old Foscams that died on me

What are your thoughts on LaView? I thought I wanted pan and zoom but the field of view is actually better for what I need it for.

I know you want hardwired. My LaView is hardwired via an extender. Not ideal but is more solid that other cameras. Unfortunately I don't have a lot of cat running in my house.

The only reason I was looking at LaView is that it is on sale right now. The Annke has a shallower DOF but I trust all of your recommendations.

Hi Bboy -

$40 from newegg - LaView 2MP 1080P HD Fisheye Wi-Fi Security Camera with 185 Degree Viewing Angle, 2-Way Audio, Free 3-day Cloud Storage and Motion Detection (LV-PWF80216-W) – NeweggFlash.com

ID distance is super short due to super wide FOV - and the image will be distorted due to the fisheye lens.
LaView 2MP 1080p fisheye WiFi camera LV-PWF80216-W 1080p at 185 degrees: 5.95 feet { 57.13 sq feet covered }

I think that camera works well in very few locations ( example by frontdoor of an apartment - sort of like a peephole lens ), I think you'd be better off with the Hikvision OEM cube for most locations.

I went with the Hikvision clone.
