If your camera supports WDR/HLC, they might be able to compensate a little bit, but ultimately finding a spot for the camera that doesn't have the light right in its face is the solution.

Can you use a camera model that "just sits" (vs. mounts) and sit it on the island? Like a little wireless Amcrest indoor PTZ? I've seen folks post about having good luck with them, but I don't remember the specific models they were talking about.

If you can move this over to the kitchen side, at least it should catch the deck door and sink without the light being in the way?

Also try BLC (back light compensation)

Do you want to capture the door and window when you're not home?
And if so, wouldn't the light over the table be off in those situations?

Since this is a WiFi camera, I'd do as Aristocrat says and reposition, especially lower. Seems like it's pretty high up.
What do your test videos look like, with someone wearing a ball cap?
