Been a lurker for a while now so have read the cliff notes and use the wiki.
After a few local incidents recently including tyre slashing, stolen car and vandalism I have decided to install a system.
First looked at the consumer cloud cameras from Ring, Arlo, Nest, then some of the wired NVR kits from Lorex and Swann.
It feels like none of these solutions will work for me, either in cost or quality so will be looking at putting together something a bit more bespoke, probably Dahua based.
Anyway I look forward to any advice you all may chose to give.
