I am trying to set up Tinycamonitor. I am getting a very low frame rate. I have tried various protocols, and currently on RTSP over TCP.

On the one camera (Android Mobile) running CamOn, I am getting around 0.7fps on the local network. TinyCam is showing Received Rate around 21fps and displayed frames at 0.7fps - dropped 94%

On another cam (over the internet - not local network) I am getting received 14fps, displayed 0.3fps dropped 97%

I think it may relate to the device running tinycampro rather than the camera, but Im not sure. CPU usage is around 20-30, and I have tried software/hardware decoder. I have tried several devices with similar results? Last night it worked at around 10fps - but this morning back down to very low rates?

I love the app, but thinking about putting a windows system in with BlueIris if I cant sort.

Be sure 'Power safe mode' in app drawer is switched off. If it is on, only keyframes are decoded causing low fps.

Hi Alex, I'm having a similar issue with a Hikvision 2432. Camera set to 30 fps and viewing via pc has no choppiness. Viewing via TinyCamPro only yields 1 fps max and I don't have 'power safe mode' checked. Additionally, the Hik-connect app has no choppiness, although video quality is slightly degraded. I'd prefer to use TinyCamPro but I need to get fps higher than 1 fps. Thanks!
