Mac OSX / Safari Compatibility

Hi all

So whilst learning more about what's out there, it appears there are issues with OSX / Safari compatibility with Hikvision & Dahua NVR's.

I was planning on installing a NVR & a couple of PoE cameras for my bungalow. I wonder if anyone has any idea what the current state of play is?

iirc both Dahua and Hikvsion have software which runs on the MAC OS - Dahua = smartpss, Hikvision = IVMS-4200

Due to the OEMs APIs your options are

If Hikvision OEM cameras => then IVMS-4200
If Dahua OEM cameras => then SmartPSS

If mixed => then something else... ( note, this is an over simplification and very much there are exceptions and nuances which I have over looked )
