I know that it technically can handle 64 cameras but I dont believe there is any computer that can run that amount. i am trying to setup a 30 camera system . Is there any computer that can run 30 cameras at 1080?

It will depend on various factors. With the new hardware acceleration it could be done on a haswell/skylake i7 if you limit frame rates to 10-15.

i am running a skylake i7 with 23 cameras at 15fps and it is bombing out too often at cpu 100%. I am going to have to switch to ivms if i can ever figure out how to set it up.

What version of blue iris? what exact processor are you using. You are doing something wrong. Are you recording 24/7 or on motion?
Using direct to disk? How much memory does the system have? Are you using the new intel hardware acceleration?

something is still not right with those numbers. What cams are you using?
Hardware acceleration was added two days ago so if you have not tried that, do that first.
