Not sure if this is the right post, how do I minimize the alerts when it snows out? Right now I see a lot of canceled alerts due to the light snow.

Thanks

If they are cancelled it's working perfectly.

I agree, unfortunately the CPU take the hit, I hear that you can adjust some settings in the motion trigger to minimize bi seen the snow so the false alarms. Any settings that I can make to minime the motion to trigger?

Lots of things you can do.

You make the make time larger and the min object size larger.

Add motion zones with direction of travel that hopefully is different direction than snow.

Use object detection and moves x number of pixels and reset at x%

Use camera AI

Get a better computer lol

But unless it snows a lot, either deal with because all of the above will then miss without snow OR make a profile for snow that does above or turns off alerts.
