most recent update file is 40MB...why?

they have been this way for 3-4 months...
Yes, I'm a few months behind in updates.
Still the filesize increase is puzzling...can that all be attributed to UI3?

no, it was before ui3 and ui3 is tiny 1.5mb or so...who knows...if it really bothers you, you can email support.
