Hi everyone. I'm ready to move my Blue Iris software onto a dedicated I7 machine. I have the licence number but I'm not sure If I can use it on the second machine. I can see solutions within the forum that describe editing the registry (i've always kept clear of any changes there) - are there any other methods.

Kind Regards greenmoss

Export your settings - blue iris options >about ..deactivate the license in the same place...
Install blue iris on the new machine..import your settings..enter your license key.

Hold on. I have just allowed Windows to install a service pack. It is now working.

Thank you again
Great..there is another thread where a user had the same crash and it was attributed to not installing the service pack as well..

Maybe it's just me, but it took 30 minutes to work out why Blue Iris wouldn't record.
I imported registration entries from a previous PC with many drives to a PC with a single drive. I had to rename the drive and folder in the Blue Iris Options/Clips and archiving/Folders/Path . I'm sure this must be a common problem for the newbies.
