    Hello everyone,

Finally I received my IPC-HDW5231RP-Z from Andy.
I wired it up via PoE and want to set it up.

I have read that you first must change the IP adres of the camera by connecting it directly to your pc.
Unfortunately my MacBook does not have an ethernet port and I don't have an adapter, so I just connected it to my router.

I have downloaded the ConfigTool from Dahua and I can see the camera is connected to the internet and has gotten the following standard IP adres: 192.168.1.108. My own IP network has the following IP range: 192.168.178.xx.

How can I change the IP adress of the camera so that I can see and configure it? Right now I can't connect to 192.168.1.108. I have tried to change the IP adress via the ConfigTool app, but it doesn't work.

    Please help me.

I have tried to change the ip adres via the ConfigTool app. What do I have to fill in the blank fields? (see picture)
    Start IP: 192.168.178.50
    Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
    Gateway: 192.168.178.1

Oke i have managed to change the IP adress. I can now see the camera through my own IP range.

But now the following problem occurs: I have no image. I have downloaded the Safari plugin, but the image stays black :(
