Hi,

Tried to search through the postings but am unable to get a clear answer. Hope someone here can clarify.
I have two NICs on my PC running BI. Does the BI Settings -> Web Server -> LAN access setting determine the particular NIC/adaptor being used by BI to pull video stream from the cameras? If not, how is it determined or set?

Thanks,

Henry

The camera address is the governing fator. That assumes one of the NIC cards is also addressed to that same network, as in a private, isolated, network. The web server address is the "public" address used to access the web server itself. When you configure a new camera in BI you enter the address that you've assigned, manually, to the camera through the web GUI of the camera.

Example -
NIC #1 cameras 192.168.10.10 through 192.168.10.50 with the NIC in the server addressed with 192.168.10.5
NIC #2 for the local LAN and web server access 192.168.1.5
