New 8MP Raspberry Pi camera

Apparently the original 5 MP Raspberry Pi camera was discontinued so they built a new 8 megapixel camera using the Sony IMX219PQ sensor.

They say "it’s a leap forward in image quality, colour fidelity and low-light performance". The 5 MP camera was really terrible at low light compared to common IP cameras, and I doubt this will actually be much better. But I'm probably still going to buy one sooner or later.

New camera is disappointing everyone, including myself, due to a very poor focus that can't be improved much with the included lens.

I was able to manually re-focus the lens on the new camera module to improve the sharpness greatly. I don't think it matches the original camera module for clarity across the entire frame, but it is a whole lot better than it used to be.
