I just bought some additional cameras from Andy and got a good HP from my work (I5-8400, 16GB RAM, 1TB HDD), I will be purchasing the purple WD drive in the near future but need a swtich. Attached is my current need and future need. I am not networking savvy, so I was hoping to buy an unmanaged switch, but will learn a managed switch if need be.
- Does anyone have a suggestion for a POE switch that will be able to power my setup?
- I have all of this centralized in my server room (large AC/Controlled custom closet) in my house and was wondering if there is switch solution that has 16 POE ports and have the ability to use the additional ports for my networking needs? Or should I just keep separate?
