Wow! if they had put in one of the thermal cameras, they could have covered the overgrown area at the back left!

Next Dahua need to stich the video in software into one video stream.

Make their own version of the Panomera camera.
I want my own Panomera from the Ultra line..... 190MP.

1/2.8" alarm bells for night vision.

In their demo video it doesn't look paricularly great in the day and at night washes out the faces on the shorter ranges with the high powered IR required for the long range lens. Great idea for a camera. Not sure the implementation is there yet.

Maybe a suggestion for Dahua 3 x 5442 4mp sensors + a laser beam IR illuminator for the long range that simply passes over the other 2 sensors. Could even do a shark fin style mount on top with the mid range and long range IR sensors on it, each using lasers or IR LED diodes with spread designed to their specific range.

i guess we will see with more testing and maybe some firmware tweaks

Andy already posted it in the sale thread.

But looks like its a EU only camera. On Dahua Datasheet no FCC under certification ?

TBH I still think it's a waste of time. 10 yrs ago we'd have been all over this. But now, we know that NV can be good and the newer sensors have opened up a world of better Picture Quality.

Great Idea, but poorly implemented. As I mentioned, get the 3x 5442 S2 or s3 4mp chips in there, sort the IR out and you have a camera you can probably vend for $350 that does the job of multiple cameras.

ATM it looks like a great cam that's severely compromised if you want great day or night pictures.

I’ll echo what the other member said this is yet another toy like product. Just like Hikvision they will come out with something that could be epic and great!

Yet release something that is from 1990?!? :lmao:

They have the technology, capability, and knowledge to do so! So why design and produce a piece of shit?!?

Why?!?

Because Dahua is filled with imbeciles that like to create half assed products! It’s not like they don’t have hundreds of piece of hardware that need firmware to resolve years of problems!

Can’t invest any money for a cheap and accurate RTC?!? Won’t fix the endless problems using their Micro SD Cards corrupting all the time???

But, will release a new product with 2 MP?!? Come on it’s 2024 not 1994 you stupid shits!

The bare minimum in 2024 is 4MP using 1/1.8” imaging sensor with true hybrid lighting and quick reaction / change in both modes!

140 WDR should be the standard even 130!

Both of these companies have just decided to use the same playbook from shit companies like GM, Ford, Chrysler of offering low hanging fruit shit products marketed to the stupid.

That’s the problem with lots of these Chinese companies. No leadership, progress, iteration, job one!

Looks like you still have enough money left on your bank account to buy one of these expensive trucks from Ford or GM.

Last week the news reported that some companies come with their overpriced cars to europe

74.000 Euro Chevrolet Silverado LT Trail Boss

140.000 Euro Cadillac Escalade Premium Sport Platinum

95.000 - 110.000 Euro GMC Yukon / GMC Sierra

Who can buy these cars in USA ?

What to expect putting 3x 1/1.8 4MP sensors in one cam ?? 1000USD pricetag ?

This isn’t top shelf imaging / lens we’re talking about. Inserting three 1/1.8” sensors would at the highest end need to be sold at $750.00

But, instead they will insert 1990 technology to market and entice the stupid! :lmao:

As it relates to the vehicles you mentioned. Mark up is on everything and the dealers are all scammers.

If we used the same example such as BMW, Mercedes, Volvo, etc. These same name brands come in and ask a for a huge premium?!?

How does one explain a taxi driver rocking a BMW / Mercedes?!?

A fucking taxi driver or courier?!?

Lastly, there isn’t a domestic vehicle that’s worth shit. Probably less than shit because they literally lead the industry designing, making, and selling shit!

I can safely state this because our conglomerate rents / leases these piece of shit vehicles in all trim and types.

We have a data base that tracks every defect, recall, TSB! This spans from 1960 until now!

Yes same stupid video as the polish one

I think there are already two problems

Its seems only possible to setup rules on the 3.6mm channel (not big problem, because lines can be far away)

and the problematic near field overexposure
