No access to app from work on wifi

A few months ago, I became unable to connect to the mobile app on iphone or to the web server on chrome while using the wifi or wired internet on pc at work. If I disconnect from wifi on my phone I can access via cellular service, though at a poor and slow connection. I work at a hospital and I'm guessing that they or their firewall have blocked access to the my server. I have had multiple pc blue iris updates and mobile app updates since this started. Have also tried many different settings changes. Are there any blue iris logs or other way to find out if that is what is happening? I don't want to ask them about it.

Are you using a VPN (openVPN) to connect to your home network ?
If connecting directly (non vpn) change to port number your are using, use a 4 or 5 digit port number in BI and in your router

I strongly recommend setting up a inbound VPN for security reasons.
