Hi

I upgraded from 4.6.5.3 x64 to latest 4.6.8.1 and the console won't load.

Downgrade to 4.6.5.3 and it loads again.

Any ideas?

No error message.
Just pops up the login box as usual but no gui after.
BI icon is in system tray.
Click on it again and get login box, same cycle.

Hi
When I load console, it loads to system tray, then when I click on icon in system tray, it pops up password box, then usually console if correct password is entered.

then you are not running as admin...run windows as admin and launch blueirisadmin.exe

Hi

but I am the admin user logged on windows, and when I run ver 4.6.5.3 I don't have an issue.

This issue has only surfaced with the latest update.

are you launching the blueirisADMIN.exe or blueiris.exe non admin?

If I launch admin it goes straight to tray, then I click on it there and put password.
If I launch non-admin, it prompts for username/password, then goes to tray, then as above.

that is because you have it set to minimize to tray on startup..and you have it set to require a password to restore from a minimized state

Yes that is correct, and it loads up fine with older version but not new one.

Hi again

I just disabled/unticked "use system tray icon when minimized; password to restore", upgraded to 4.6.8.1, and now it loads OK.

Seems to be an issue with that ticked in latest version.
