Hi,
I have setted up a bunch of new cameras but some of them are not really working when reccording.
Live playing is very well working, but recording doesn't very well.
As you can see, the new installed cameras only record for 10 seconds per day (while others at least 7hours).
I haven't been able to figure out why is Blue Iris not recording more ...
Is there a setting that I might have missed ?
Thanks

You need to post screen shots of how you have video, motion, trigger, record, etc, configured for the cams on the BI server.

You should have everything usefull overthere ...
Sorry for the bad quality, but I am using RDP + VNC, not one of the best configuration for remote configuration !
Thanks

You are only recording when it's triggered, with a pre-trigger buffer of 10 seconds (which I think will use a lot of resources).

Are you wanting to record continuously? Compare that record tab with the record tab of a camera that is working.

Yep that's what I want to configure BUT this is not working (as you can see it only records 10 seconds a day, while others record 7hours... And they should be triggered ...)

I really don't know what you are saying. What do you want to configure?

Do you only want to record upon triggering?
Or do you want to record continuously?

You are also only showing us the schedule for that one camera, which is disabled. What is your global schedule?

Yeah you need to do some reading, and watch those video tutorials. You need to learn the software, especially for the environment you are monitoring which looks like a store or something.

Thank you guys for your answers.
I have fully checked my parameters and the videos of the tutorial, but nothing really changes ...
I still have my new cameras recording 10 seconds only ...
Here is the config that you've asked :

As you can see, every cameras stays at '00sec' when recording ...

Here you go ... But as you can see it fully works 'live' but recording doesn't seem to be well working.
Does a re-install of Blue Iris would change something ?
Thanks.

Well ...
I have installed a new one this morning (and still need to install 2 of them).
After check, this one records well when trigerring.

For the last cameras, I did only replace the IP of the camera because i was replacing them. The one that I have installed this morning is a new one (so new one on Blue Iris).
I think the issue might come from there. I will try to configure Blue Iris from a brand new version and configure everything back.

I hope that will solve the problem !

also note that the 'length' of the recording listed for clip is NOT the length of the video, it's the time between the beginning and the end of the clip,
whcih may consist of more than one alert/trigger. So the clip that claims 7hrs may have had an alert at 12 noon and another at 7pm, and include only a few moments of video tho the clip has a 'span' of 7 hrs...

also, i think a 10 sec pre-buffer may be problematic. 2-3 secs should be plenty...

one more thing: your previous shots showed an i frame rate of 2 with frame rate of 15. that's 7-8 iframes per second. not necessary and may also contribute to BI getting confused. try an iframe rate that match your frames per second (ie, 15/15, for one per second)
