Getting the same thing. I'm using GT 1030 with latest nVidia driver. Both H264 and H265 are giving the same error using 8 Hikvision DS-2CD2185FWD-I. There has to be more people experiencing issues.
I *did* have it, but after fiddling a bit with the drivers (latest) and settings, I don't seem to get the error any more. Main App Settings Cameras Tab - Hardware accelerated decode (restart) set to "Nvidia CUDA" Camera Settings Video Tab Hardware Accelerated Decode: Default Limit decoding unless required (ticked) GPU - any I'm writing to the disk (continuously) and alerting on trigger File format: Blue Iris DVR (BVR) Video compression : Re-encode with settings (Encoder H264 - H.264/MPEG-4 AVC) 80% quality, AAC Audio, (Use Nvidia CUDA hardware acceleration ticked), GPU (any) CPU is about 10-12% intel XEON X5660 @ 2.80 Ghz 12GB RAM Windows 10 Pro hope this helps?
Hard to say if that card even supports NVDEC since it isn't in the support matrix. Based on its product page it may support H.264 decoding but not H.265.
@Burratha You must have some very important camera overlays for it to be worth re-encoding the video.
