Version 4.8.6.3

1) I have my make time set to 6 seconds:

2) Object Detection is ticked, with no options ticked off inside:

3) When a car comes into frame from the RIGHT, the camera is triggered immediately. (It should wait 6 seconds)

4) If I UNTICK the box Object Detection box, then the camera will only trigger after the car moved in the frame for 6 seconds.

Ex:

What the heck is going on here? I even tried setting the Object Travels (Pixels) to 50, but the car still triggers the camera right away, instead of waiting 6 seconds. This is happening for all 6 of my cameras.

Hmm. I suggest you bring this up with the BI developer and let us know what he says. It does seem broken.

I do notice you're using BI4 there. Which means if this is a bug and the developer does fix it, then BI4 won't get the fix. It will only appear in BI5.

Thanks for the reply. I think I finally found out what was going on. If you notice the screenshot under 3), the car is highlighted in RED, but the image doesn't have the red border around it, meaning it didn't actually trigger. It seems the OBJECT was detected, and met all criteria, but it didn't trigger because the make time is 6 seconds.

I don't remember it acting this way in the past.. but it very well could have.
