Looking at picking this up for my home setup. Planning on a max of 12 cameras, most likely being the 2mp starlights.

Dell Precision T3620. Would load it with a pair of additional 6TB WD purple drives.

  • Processor: Intel Core 7th Generation i7-7700 Processor (Quad Core, up to 4.20 GHz, 8MB Cache, 65W)
  • Windows 10 Pro64 Bit
  • 128GB 2.5-Inch SATA Class 20 Solid State Drive
  • 4GB DDR4 Non-ECC UDIMM 2400MHz (1x4GB)
  • 16X Half Height DVD +/- RW
  • Integrated Video Card
  • Dell Outlet Precision T3620 Mini Tower
Refurb is $500 currently.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds good except that 4GB RAM needs to be doubled to 8GB (would be a VERY good idea, IMO),

I've already got an 8gb Kingston ddr4 card here I was planning to install. My bad, I should have mentioned that.
