I've been using BI for quite sometime now, however it just occurred to me while viewing the BI Status page, under the Camera tab, that all my cameras are showing at 2.1MP, with one at 0.9MP. These are all listed as 3MP cameras. Is this an indication that the cameras are not 3MP, or does BI throttle that back in some way?

if the camera is set to 1080p it will show as 2.1mp...why are you expecting 3? 1080*1920=2073600 which is rounded to 2.1

The camera specs indicate it is a 3mp camera. So when ordering a IP Camera, a 3mp is actually two, what would a 4 or 5mp camera show up as in BI?

A 3mp can generally be set to stream 3mp, 1080p and 720p...you have selected 1080p in the camera interface. That is what it is sending to blue iris and therefore what blue iris is indicating.
