We currently have 16 cameras all of which will be 8MP.
Would like the ability to upgrade to 24 cameras in the future.

We will be doing recording on motion only 24/7/365.
Viewing feeds live M-F 9-5

Right now, I have a $500 credit I can use at Dell, if there is a good system that is suggested.

I am not too good on all the PC specs, so please be gentle I know I should have a SSD drive for the OS/Software and Purple HDD for the recording.

Any suggestions please.

The number of cameras is only of minor important. It is MP/sec which is the most important value.

Look at the number on your BI system at the bottom left corner of the BI Status cameras tab. Use that number multiplied by (24/16).
