Poor throughput to Android Blue Iris App

Audio is extremly choppy, video is bursty, anyone else run into this?
The recording and playback of footage on the BI server is clean. I have no problem viewing
any other video source including cameras on the Android device, just BI is slow.
All on wifi currently, and minimal network activity (no streaming TV etc).

ensure blue iris is excluded from your antivirus and firewall rules.
