I have 4 older QCN7001B 1.2MP cameras that came with my Q-See NVR system a few years back. They are as far as I know just rebranded Dahua cameras. One of the features I wish it has is wide dynamic range. Does anyone know if there's any Dahua firmware out there that can give me that capability? Or is that pretty much limited to the hardware of the cameras?
Possible to flush Q-see QCN7001B cameras with Dahua firmware?

I have the same question, I cannot seem to log into these cameras to set static ip address. Entering the ip address of this camera in the address bar of a windows 10 machine, chrome, IE etc does not access camera settings. Any help?

They may be set to a different http port. Scan the ip address. These old cams are not worth your time.

It's a program you run on your PC. You give it the IP of an address (like a camera) and it will scan the device, looking for open ports. Macs have this tool built-in (Network Utility), .. for Windows there should be some free tools you can download. One you know what ports are open on a device, it's up to you to figure out what they do. For example, you can try connecting to them from a browser and hope one of them is http and will let you login. It's not uncommon to see some of the rebranded Dahua cameras sold by other companies have the web interface removed and you have to have a different tool to set them up.

I am assuming the web interface has been removed, maybe not but just entering the ip is a no bueno. Do you recommend a tool that will allow me to access this camera to change settings of the camera?
How do you know it's IP address?
As suggested, first run something like NMAP against the camera to see what ports it has open.

I see the camera ip when logged into the router, the camera works with blue iris but I lose signal around time daily and have to reenter the ip into blue iris. This is one of 10 cameras I have using blue iris. I have set static ip's on all the others but cannot access web interface to do that with this one.

I have tried every port that zenmap found typing it into the address bar of chrome like this 192.168.1.33:554 etc with no luck.

I would love to have a better camera, I am only using one of them and funds are super tight right now. I will upgrade in the future for sure.
@cleanrf you mention it works in BI (for a while?), so BI must have the admin password, no ?...
If your problem is that you need to restart the cam in BI once in a while, you might just automate
that in the camera's schedule page. IE, pro-actively restart the cam in BI at 2am (or more frequently if needed)
so you don't need to do it manually when it falls off...

Qsee normally opens http on port 85. You can try http://cameraip:85 in your browser. I've never had static IP problems with qsee cameras.
However, I don't recommend going with dahua fw as there's a good chance it'll brick the camera.

Well I'll be dipped, http://192.168.1.36:85/ let me in! Thank you! I have had those cameras since 2012, haven't used them in 5 years but had a need for them where FOV, resolution etc wasn't important. These fit the bill.

BTW, I believe these cameras do have WDR with qsee firmware. If not, it's worth checking the qsee site for FW updates. I used to own some and I believe this option was available. Yeah, they were great for the price at the time!

apparently, not. or you would have found port 85 via the port scanning method everyone was suggesting... oh well, glad you got it sorted.
