Push Notifications on Amazon Fire 7

Having trouble getting push notifications working on Amazon Fire 7.

Disabled Windows Firewall, made sure Notifications were enabled on the tablet, and checked BI settings over and over. Nothing happens, although I noticed sometimes the Push Notification icon in the status bar of BI lit up when forcing a trigger.

Nothing ever shows up in log either:

Do you have the BI app installed on the fire?

Yup! Getting alerts in app but no notifications.

Went through support and it seems the Fire is not sending back a push token (found in Windows registry). So it may be an app problem.
