Just getting started with DS but this is really a BI issue as I can't easily get BI to motion trigger...or, I should say it's oddly difficult to get BI to motion trigger in this instance. Once BI triggers I can see that DS is doing an impressive job (out of the box) with the analysis.
I noticed some rare instances of missed triggers and this is one of them. It seems to me that this is just a case of the person wearing colors that BI is having trouble triggering on. The pics below are from 6:36pm, sunset isn't until 8:15pm so this isn't from dusk. I've noticed that I have to drop the Minimum Contrast down to 15 before BI triggers and sends this to DS for analysis. Of course, this causes constant triggers during other parts of the day due to shadows when it's a brighter part of the day. Looking for suggestions on what to look for to tweak.
Maybe need to use camera EXTERN triggers instead with IVS (Humans/Vehicles)? Or perhaps EXTERN cam triggers in the day and BI motion triggers at night?
